The former president's Granddaughter Receives Professional Advice from Tiger Woods Ahead of Professional Golf Debut

Kai Trump can count on numerous high-profile backers when she begins her LPGA debut this Thursday.

This teenage golfer, who is the granddaughter of Donald Trump, obtained a sponsor's invitation to participate at Florida's Annika event in the Sunshine State.

Her grandfather, someone who loves golf, owns multiple courses worldwide and frequently plays against his granddaughter.

"He's fairly competent. I can't say much but we have tight competitions," she mentioned.

Kai explained that Trump, who won't be present, told her: "Just don't get nervous."

"My grandpa basically advised me to play and enjoy myself," she continued.

"In my eyes, he's simply a normal grandpa. He's not attending this weekend. He's occupied with running the country, making him somewhat preoccupied."

As an amateur, the golfer has participated in just three tournaments this year and maintains the 461st position in the American Junior Golf Association rankings.

But she's able to receive tips from 15-time major champion, who is dating Kai's mother.

"He represents the best player worldwide," the young golfer said.

"And he's a superior individual. He suggested me to compete, relax, and go with the flow."

Kai will face multiple most prominent players in the sport at the Annika, featuring second-ranked the champion, England's Charley Hull, Lexi Thompson and 2023 champion Lilia Vu.

Tournament organizers mentioned that involving Kai brings the sport to different demographics, particularly with the next generation.

The young star boasts substantial online presence and has started her own fashion and living brand.

She begins at late afternoon GMT.
